Fortrose and Rosemarkie Coastal Golf Course at Chanonry PointLeaving Inverness we drive down the banks of Loch Ness giving you a chance for a bit of monster hunting and time for a photo of Urquhart castle.

We then head across some lovely countryside arriving at the Golf Course at Aigas.

Aigas is a lovely 9 hole golf course built in 1993 in a quite magnificent forest setting. Whilst being a baby in terms of Golf courses it has a nice generous nature in its forgiving wide fairways and relatively welcoming greens. A course that’s easy to play but hard to score low on due to its placements of Dog legs and bunkers around the landing areas an ideal way to start a days golf.

After Aigas we head to the local distillery for a tour and some sampling of the good stuff.

We will have lunch in the town of Beauly. After Lunch we head for the lovely Fortrose and Rosemarkie Course on the Black isle. A wonderful example of Scottish Coastal golf.

The course was designed by the legendary James Braid and given its location on the Moray firth of Scotland you are in for a testing afternoons golf. With ocean next to many of the holes, some bunkers that would look at home on the old course of St Andrews and lots of gorse to be avoided you will be glad you had a warm up game before heading here. You might also see some dolphins jumping from the water next to you for a truly unique experience in the highlands.

This course is on the famous Chanonry Point and Graham will tell you of witchcraft and evil deeds while on the way here. It was on Chanonry Point, near the lighthouse, where the Brahan Seer was thrown head-first into a barrel of blazing tar! Why? You better ask Graham!

Each player pays £65 for green fees and distillery. Supplement of £15 if you require club hire from the courses.  A further supplement of £10 if you require a trolley. Buggy hire is available at Fortrose only and is £17.50 per buggy.

Once you have booked the tour Graham will contact you to find out if you require clubs and if so whether left or right handed, ages etc.

Price: £325 for up to eight passengers. NOTE THAT THIS TOUR IS ONLY CONDUCTED BY GRAHAM SO PLEASE CHECK THE AVAILABLE DATES TO ENSURE GRAHAM'S ARE EITHER CLEAR OR IN CYAN WITH BLACK TYPE. IF EITHER THEN YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND BOOK.
