H5 Half Day Beauly, Whisky Distillery and Black Isle  Tour - Four Hours

NO CHILDREN UNDER 12 ON THIS TOUR

The 13th Century Beauly Priory

We collect you from your accommodation or other location and head along the Beauly Firth.

Enjoy lovely views of the Black Isle as we travel through the fertile farm land which produces some of the barley used in the local malt whisky.

Our first stop is the charming village of Beauly where we will take you into the ruined thirteenth century Beauly Priory where we'll point out various features. MacKenzies and Chisholms will find the Beauly Priory of particular interest.

There are also one or two specialist shops to peruse here. You are in command of the tour though, we just provide options.A glass of Glen Ord Malt Whisky in its natural environment

Shortly after leaving Beauly we arrive for a guided tour of a major whisky distillery. Note that on weekends only the distillery visitor centre is open. Also, between 28th September and 4th November inclusive the distillery is shut, but the exhibition is open. After we leave the Distillery you stagger back to the vehicle and we drive onto the Black Isle where there are some superb photo-opportunities and both Red Kite and Buzzards are regularly seen ... sometimes at quite close range.

While on the Black Isle we offer options to visit various places of interest depending on the time available.

Between October and April there is also an opportunity to get close to red deer stags for a unique photograph, but this does require an extension of about two hours.

Price: £120 for up to six passengers.
